I don't enjoy the taste of small intestines, so I usually get the large intestines with a side of cold noodles (bibim naengmyeon) to cut the fat. You can ask for vinegar and mustard on the side once they drop off the naengmyeon, and add them to taste for a more layered flavor profile. This is very much a late-night spot, with traffic peaking around 11 PM-midnight. The staff are always friendly and accommodating without being overbearing. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so it's easy to get the attention of the waitstaff.

Updating my review. Pretty good experience this time, at 6:20pm on a Thursday. No wait. Food is delicious. We had the mixed Gopchang. Good portion. Good for small groups or casual dinner.

The food is consistently delicious! I've been here three times already and once in queens. The intestines are always clean. I don't trust any other place. They've improved their services and now have a three sided plastic to cover the grill so the oil doesn't splatter everywhere. The cold noodles were delicious. Perfectly cold with the right flavor and amount of sauce. I always like the macaroni banchan, the pickled spicy onions, and even the slice of warm tofu. Fried rice at the end complements the meal and adding the fish roe, we tasted it in every bite and it was devoured.

It was my first time trying raw beef and it was an interesting experience. I didn't particularly like or dislike it, but it worked well with the rice. I would try it again. I liked the bibim naengmyun. It wasn't too spicy and the broth was refreshing. The noodles were perfectly chewy and bouncy. So far, this is my favorite naengmyun in ktown. I also really enjoyed the fried dumplings. Great place to relax after work or hang with friends on the weekend.

I love that they gave you the option of trying the intestine set with different sizes( small, medium or large). Since it was just two of us and also our first time trying the Korean bbq intestine, we got the size small order along with cold noodle + spicy rice cake. My favorite is definitely the intestine. But it is slightly oily at the end, so ordering cold noodle on the side is a must. The Tteokbokki is not bad. But probably wouldn't order that gain. It's super nice that they gave you a blocking board while the intestine is being cooked, so the oil doesn't splatter everywhere. * I recommend joining the waitlist early. It did take over an hour for dinner. But we ended up just walking around the street and checking out other stores.

Combo is really worth! Comes cooked and servers cook for you. We also had the intestine soup that was really good. Wait was around 30 mins on a weekday dinner using yelp check in

My first time having intestines which was very interesting. We got a medium Combo Gui ($62) for 4 people which was very fatty but delicious. The lettuce and banchan really helped cut through the fat of everything! There were some pieces that I did not like as much but that's a personal preference. We also got the seafood pancake ($19) which was good! the sauced galbi was okay, but for $47, it was not worth it in my opinion. I would pass on this. We later got the pork bulbaek ($21) (I was so excited, I forgot to take a picture) which was super tasty!! Afterwards, we got fried rice with cheese ($18) to add onto the skillet which was soo delicious and helped fill us up. Overall, this place is pretty good, preferably with a big group to try different things! It does get pricey but I would go again!!

Food (4/5 stars): Assorted GUI has a lot of assorted organs like beef liver, intestine, rice cake and more. We added 3 fried rice which was a lot of food with the unlimited sides. Also, we ordered the kimchi pork soup to try. It was good but a little on the salty side. Service (4/5): service was quick. They cook the assorted gui and the fried rice in front of you! Fun little spot to bring your friends

I love Gopchang Story! There's something about grilled offal that's super tasty with juices dripping and the seasoning they shake out onto it after it's cooked. My friends and I had a reservation for 12 and they cooked everything for us before putting the platter on our table to feast. My favorite is the large intestine because they're fattier and softer. All the side dishes that come gratis, such as macaroni and pickled onions, are also delicious. A new favorite is the motsu nabe. It's a beef bone broth with large intestine, chives and cabbage. Soooo yummy and hearty, I could eat this all winter! The seafood pancake was good and had a decent amount of seafood in it. This place gets packed so service isn't always the best, but they try to get around to everyone. Be patient! Tip: if you pay in cash, there's a 10% discount.

I came here twice in a week. Some of the better gopchang I've ever had! Loved pairing the raw beef fried rice with the intestines - so you have something something cold and refreshing against the super fatty delicious rich intestines. The second time we ordered the tripe fried rice and thought it felt too heavy. They bring the gopchang to the table and have it cooked in front of you. Nice staff. There's a discount if you pay in cash.
